Grants

In its effort to increase and enhance educational programs in Thurston County, the Foundation is dedicated to providing educators with funds to create and administer unique learning opportunities. The Foundation is interested in reaching as many students as possible utilizing projects that have a lasting impact on them.

Grants are offered by invitation to school districts and early childhood education programs located in Thurston County to fund innovative, sustainable classroom projects. Grants vary in size.

The Foundation goals for this grant program include:

* To foster innovative and sustainable projects.
* To stimulate student creativity and motivation to learn.
* To enhance the current learning environment.
* To promote the Olympia Tumwater Foundation’s mission and increase its presence in the community.

Our grant application deadline for 2011 is the 6th of May. Please contact our Foundation office for additional information.
